The ERO Charitable Foundation is thrilled to have supported the mosquito net projects in Mboro, Senegal, and Ghana, West Africa. For the Mboro project in 2013, the Foundation approved a grant for the purchase of insecticide-treated mosquito nets to be distributed to women in the village of Mboro-sur-Mer. The funds were sent to the Africa Birth Collective, which facilitated the distribution through the Malaria Defense Project, enabling the purchase of approximately 600 nets. In 2015, the Foundation approved a grant for a similar project in Ghana, which included funds for both mosquito nets and in-country ground transportation. These initiatives significantly contributed to the health and well-being of women in both communities by providing essential protection against malaria.
