Steve Butler – Associate

Steve has provided expertise in ecological consulting since 1995, conducting and managing natural resource investigations throughout Colorado and the western and central United States. Steve’s experience includes serving as project manager and assistant project manager for numerous NEPA projects, preparing environmental assessments, and preparing sections of environmental impact statements. He has prepared biological assessments and habitat conservation plans, conducted habitat evaluations and surveys for threatened and endangered species. Steve is also a certified Professional Wetland Scientist with experience in wetland delineation, wetland mitigation, Section 404 permitting, threatened and endangered species, Endangered Species Act compliance, vegetation surveys, and rare species surveys.
