ERO Resources Corporation, is seeking a natural resource intern for its Denver office from mid-March until the end of summer 2021 and Cultural Resource Seasonal Technicians for our Denver and Durango offices for the 2021 field season. We are a team of natural and cultural resource consultants with offices in Denver, Durango, and Hotchkiss, Colorado. Our expertise in science and planning provides an approach to the environment that balances development with natural and cultural resources protection.

The natural resource intern position supports new and existing natural resource projects based out of our Denver office. Primary duties include assisting with literature research and organization, database entry, wetland delineations, natural resource assessments, and other natural resource-related fieldwork. Depending on experience, other duties could include preparing sections of draft reports. The candidate must be well organized and able to perform duties while working from home with remote supervision during the pandemic. Professionalism, integrity, and comfort working with people are of the utmost importance as the position requires regular contact with team members in the field and virtually as needed.

The Cultural Resource Seasonal Technician positions assist in the identification, evaluation, and treatment of cultural resources. Technicians are responsible for applying technical skills in archaeology to assist project managers and senior level staff with all tasks related to fieldwork and reporting in the cultural resources department. This is primarily a field position and is seasonal through fall 2021 as work is available. Applicants for this position are expected to be physically capable of performing fieldwork tasks associated with survey, testing, and excavation. Employment may be extended beyond the field season if mutually agreeable.
