ERO Resources Corporation is pleased to announce that our work with Muller Engineering on the Chatfield Project (environmental mitigation portion) received an engineering award from the American Council of Engineering Companies of Colorado. ERO developed an innovative Ecological Functional Assessment Approach that evaluated endangered species habitat, wetlands, and habitat for a thriving bird community, collectively called target resources. ERO then developed mitigation design criteria that established mitigation thresholds for the three target resources.
ERO Resources Corporation was contracted by Chatfield Reservoir Mitigation Company, to provide independent technical review of all environmental mitigation. In this role, ERO was responsible for developing design criteria to be used by various design consultants to prepare preliminary design of environmental and recreation mitigation sites. In this role, we worked closely with Muller Engineering to carry out successful environmental mitigation.
