Steve Mitchell is an Environmental Scientist in ERO’s Denver, Colorado office. He has 8 years experience in the Environmental field, including Environmental Site Assessments, site characterization and monitoring, surface and subsurface soil, soil gas and groundwater investigations, and in situ remediation techniques throughout the Great Plains and Rocky Mountain regions. Summary of Experience Environmental Site Assessments. Steve has completed Phase I Environmental Site Assessments in Colorado for rural, residential, commercial, industrial, and open space properties. His clients include developers, city and county agencies, lending institutions, and commercial and industrial businesses. Site Investigation and Characterization. Steve has conducted Phase II Environmental Site Investigations to determine the type and extent of soil, ground water and/or soil gas contamination. He is experienced with lithologic and borehole logging, direct-push and auger drilling, well installation techniques, monitoring and delineation of subsurface contamination, and overall site characterization. Remediation. Steve has managed and conducted numerous chemical and bioremedial injection projects on a variety of RCRA and Voluntary Cleanup sites. He is familiar with the design, implementation and equipment capabilities of various remedial systems and techniques. |
