Sean Larmore is an archaeologist and cultural resource manager for ERO Resources. Sean’s experience includes over 10 years of experience in cultural resource management. He has a broad range of Section 106 compliance experience including hazardous fuel reduction, Burned Area Emergency Rehabilitation (BAER) teams, oil and gas NEPA compliance, Section 404 requirements, Native American consultation, and education and public outreach. Sean has particular experience planning and implementing large-scale surveys. His clients have included the National Park Service, Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, Indian Health Services, Army Corps of Engineers, Department of Defense, universities, and the oil and gas industry. He has conducted or participated in projects in Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, Arizona, and Wyoming.

SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE

NEPA Compliance, Oil and Gas Industry. Sean has experience conducting cultural resource inventories for proposed well locations, access roads, and pipeline corridors. He has particular experience in conducting NEPA related Section 106 compliance in southwest Colorado and northwest New Mexico.

Hazardous Fuel Reduction. Conducted numerous hazardous fuel reduction projects for the USDA Forest Service and the Bureau of Land Management in Colorado and Utah. Most of these projects entailed the planning and implementation of large acre surveys and required Native American consultation.

Wildland Fire Cultural Resource Consultation. Participated on the Missionary Ridge Burned Area Emergency Rehabilitation (BAER) team to identify and assess impacts to cultural resources, prepare cost analysis for stabilization measures, and plan and coordinate stabilization efforts.

Section 404 Compliance. Completed numerous cultural resources inventories in conjunction with Section 404 compliance. Conducted on-site consultation with wetland specialists and the Corps of Engineers.

Cultural Resource Education and Outreach. As the former director of Southwest Colorado's Cultural Site Stewardship Program, Sean developed public education workshops and displays and coordinated the assessment and monitoring of nearly 100 of this area's most important cultural sites. Coordinated monitoring activities with the BLM (Canyons of the Ancients National Monument), BOR, and the USFS.
