Michael Galloway is a senior Hydrogeologist with ERO Resources. He has more than 30 years of hydrogeologic experience in the Western United States and various other countries. Mike is a specialist in the evaluation and development of ground water and geothermal resources. He has particular experience in drilling and aquifer testing technologies, design and construction of remedial and dewatering systems, and development of project strategies within the regulatory framework.

SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE

Water Resources. Mike has been involved in numerous projects that involved the quantification and development of ground water resources throughout the Western U.S., India, South America, and Russia. Projects have included mapping and computer modeling of hydrogeologic systems, installation of water supply wells to 3,000 feet, and performing various types of aquifer tests.

Hazardous and Non-hazardous Site Investigations. Mike has been the technical lead and project manager of several large site investigations and remediations. Mike has been responsible for the use of creative techniques to cost-effectively investigate and remediate various contaminants, including hexavalent chromium and chlorinated compounds.

Geothermal Resources. Mike has been involved in numerous geothermal projects in the Western U.S. He was responsible for integrating hydrogeologic and geophysical data into system conceptual models and designing and installing exploration and production wells. Mike has provided expert testimony on behalf of clients regarding various water rights and use issues.
