Craig Sovka has 15 years consulting experience in the environmental field, including Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, site characterization and monitoring, surface and subsurface soil and water investigations, and remediation system design, installation, and operation. Phase I Environmental Site Assessments. Completed over 100 Phase I Environmental Site Assessments during the last 15 years for all types of properties, including: rural, residential, commercial and industrial. Clients have included city and county agencies, developers, lending institutions, and commercial and industrial businesses. Site Characterization/Remediation. Conducted dozens of Phase II Environmental Site Assessments to determine type and extent of soil and/or ground water contamination for sites contaminated with petroleum or chlorinated hydrocarbons, metals, pesticides or herbicides. Familiar with construction and operation of various remediation systems, including: air sparge, soil vapor extraction, chemical injection, and ground water recovery and treatment. Petroleum Storage Tank Management. Conducted underground storage tank investigations, including site assessments, closures, removals, and cleanups and prepared Site Characterization Reports and Corrective Action Plans for state review and approval. Craig is a Listed Environmental Consultant with the Colorado Division of Oil and Public Safety. |
