Clive Briggs is field director and project manager for ERO with more than 10 years of experience conducting National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance and Section 106-related projects. His project experience includes environmental assessments (EA) and environmental impact statements (EIS) as a third party contractor. He has managed Section 106 compliance related projects for federal clients, including the United States Forest Service (USFS), Bureau of Land Management (BLM), the states of Colorado and New Mexico, Navajo Nation, the National Park Service (NPS) and the Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation). Other clients have included Xcel energy, BHP Billiton and various counties and municipalities. As field director, his responsibilities include directing all phases of inventory, including file and record reviews (Class I), sample inventories (Class II), intensive inventories (Class III), and monitoring. He plans, directs, and reviews site assessments, management recommendations, and report production. He has provided cultural resource services in New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Utah, California, and North Dakota. Clive has authored more than 40 cultural resource management reports and is proficient in the Microsoft suite of programs and ArcGIS. Summary of Experience NEPA. Clive conducts Class I file and records reviews, inventories, impact assessments, and management recommendations for NEPA projects. Projects have included pipelines for various water supply and oil and gas projects. Section 106 Compliance. Clive has managed Section 106 compliance related projects for federal undertakings. Projects have included transmission line maintenance, fossil fuel exploration, hazardous fuel reduction, ecosystem management, grazing allotments, residential and commercial property development, wildland fire rehabilitation, transportation, land transfers and utilities. |
