Clint Henke is a natural resource specialist, experienced in wetland delineations, vegetation mapping, habitat evaluation, and threatened and endangered species surveys for road construction, residential developments, oil and gas developments, water resource projects, and recreational plans. He has experience with water and soil sampling and analysis, and a broad background in biological resources. Clint is experienced in Endangered Species Act compliance, natural resource impact evaluations, and environmental permitting. He is especially knowledgeable in North American herpetology, and has performed several field studies of reptile populations in the Rocky Mountain Region, western United States, and Mexico. Summary of Experience Threatened and Endangered Species. Clint is experienced in addressing regulatory requirements of the Endangered Species Act. He is certified by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to conduct field investigations for several species of concern, including presence/absence surveys for the Preble’s meadow jumping mouse (PMJM), Ute ladies’-tresses orchid, and sensitive amphibians. Clint has also assisted in the preparation of biological assessments for federal entities and habitat conservation plans for non-federal entities. Wetland Delineations and Section 404 Permitting. Clint has assisted several clients in acquiring 404 permitting for wetland impacts and Endangered Species Act Section 7 and Section 10 consultations with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. He has also assisted in development of mitigation plans for various agencies and has monitored mitigation wetlands. Environmental Resource Assessments. Clint has performed numerous environmental investigations for impacts to wildlife, wetlands, vegetation, water, and other natural resources. He has prepared natural resource and wildlife impact reports for various private and government-related agencies. NEPA Compliance. Clint has assisted clients with NEPA compliance and with the development of various environmental assessments (EA) and environmental impact statements (EIS). |
