The proposed habitat conservation plan in the San Luis Valley, Colorado, will improve habitat for the endangered southwestern willow flycatcher and other wildlife species, while also giving landowners and communities the assurances to conduct routine agricultural and infrastructure activities without the threat of federal regulation.

ERO prepared a habitat conservation plan for Arizona's Roosevelt Dam in support of an application for incidental take of species listed under the Endangered Species Act, including southwestern willow flycatcher, bald eagle, and Yuma clapper rail.

Wilson’s Peak Land Exchange

ERO assisted the U.S. Forest Service, in cooperation with Western Land Group and the Trust for Public Lands, with a land exchange involving five private parcels and four federal parcels on lands administered by the Grand Mesa-Uncompahgre and Gunnison national forests in Colorado.  ERO prepared the biological assessment and biological evaluation in support of National Environmental Policy Act compliance.
