ERO General Information
ERO Resources has a General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Awards Schedule for environmental services, which provides a mechanism for any federal entity to contract directly with ERO. This program allows agencies to procure services from a pre-qualified firm in a quick and efficient manner. Acquisition of contractors is streamlined under this process, because a contract is already in place and rates have been negotiated. This substantially reduces the time and paper work necessary for agencies to secure quality environmental services.

Procedures for Acquiring ERO Services Using the GSA Schedule
Project management, including development of task orders, contracting, and billing is done directly with ERO, although a GSA contracting officer will assist with the initial procurement process, if necessary. The GSA does not charge agencies any fees for contract administration. ERO is responsible for a 0.75 percent industrial funding fee, which is paid directly to GSA. Obtaining ERO services through its GSA contract is very simple.
The following steps are involved:
- Develop a Statement of Work (SOW) for the proposed project, including details on the specific tasks to be performed or the types of services needed for an indefinite quantity contract.
- Submit a request for quotes to ERO for providing the services in the SOW. If competitive bids are required, request a quote from two other GSA schedule holders.
- Evaluate the quotes and qualifications of the contractors and select a contractor that provides the best value.
